Chad A. Shirley joined Mission in August 2001 as Manager of Financial Planning and served as Director of Financial Planning when the company was merged with Petrohawk in July 2005. At Mission, Mr. Shirley was responsible for coordinating and preparing the Company’s annual budget and all financial models, along with providing assistance in the acquisition screening process. Prior to Mission, Mr. Shirley was Manager of Financial Planning at Ocean Energy, Inc. where he prepared the budget and all financial models. During his eight years at Ocean Energy, Mr. Shirley served in various areas of the accounting and financial groups including expense, revenue and planning.
Mr. Shirley received a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University in 1993 and is a certified public accountant.
